Diyismyhappyplace is my name and my jam. Do It Yourself. I am a DIYer. Crafting Gnomes is my therapy. I love to figure out how to DIY as many things as I possibly can. Crafts, home improvements, decorating, design, food, parties, family gatherings and everything in-between. I watch how to videos to learn how to do things, then try to make it, on a tight budget. Sometimes I find shortcuts, and new ways of doing things. If I want it, I try to make it. Sometimes there are hits and some things turn out to be misses. I'm trying out so you will know if it is possible for the average person to be able to accomplish the task at hand.

Hi, in your video about adding legs to a gnome with balloon sticks that had to have a special attachment, I missed the reason for needing that attachment and how to use it. Where can I find that information?
I’m sorry. The attachments come with the Dollar Tree balloon sticks. I use the attachments so I can easily attach the feet to the standing gnome.

Do you have a video showing your entire process? From making it all the way to placing it on a gnome?
I use this yarn on so many projects so I just wanted to show how to get it to curl. Depending on my projects I use different techniques for placing it on the crafts. The most common way is to wrap the yarn ends around pipe cleaners then glueing them to my projects. Does it matter what kind of yarn you use?
I would also like to know what the yarn is made out of.
I’ve tried all different yarns and definitely the soft fluffy polyester yarn was the least favorable. It works, but not as well.
